In the autumn of 2014, I completed an online workshop, my first ever formal training in the art of photography.
The workshop was held by Otto von Munchow and was excellent! Check out his website: www.munchow.no
I have recently finished a so called "365 project", one shot every day for a whole year. I published once a week on FaceBook. It was my personal "mindfulness zone". Once a day, I devoted some time in looking for an image that deserved publication. During the winter I found it quite demanding with the short days, and low light (until the snow arrived). Some shots materialized without leaving the house, others are the result of a long walk in the night. At the same time I learnt more about my camera and used it in varied and not always optimal conditions. I strongly recommend this type of project.
I have now turned the 365 project into a limited edition book, mostly for my family and friends.
I achieved the distinction of "Associate of the Royal Photographic Society" in April 2016. My successful panel can be seen in the gallery " The Norwegian Opera and Ballet"
"Framed" shown in the Summer gallery was accepted at "The London Salon 2016".
"On the Beach" (Dungeness) was awarded a silver medal at the New York - Manhatten, International exhibition of Art Photography in May 2017.
“Stripes” shown in the “Street” gallery was accepted at “The London Salon 2018”
My gallery “Cause and effect” was shown at Norway’s National Museum of Photography” during the “Photography Days” in August 2018.
